We have missed our club rides so much that we have decided to put an extra Wellbeing & Introductory ride (9-11 mph) and this one will start from the new Worcester Cycle Centre shop, Main Road, Hallow, Worcester WR2 6LD on Saturday 10th April 2021 meeting at 9.15 am and setting off at 9.30 am. There is plenty of parking both at the front/rear of the shop and in the road adjacent Orchard Close.
We have two options for you to choose from:-
- A 23.64 mile loop to Lower Broadheath, Bransford Madresfield Guarlford and then back to Powick and WCC
- Two loops organised of approx. 10 miles around the Hallow area of which you may opt to do one or both (please note that we will track some of the routes covered on 4.4.21) our next ride will be in another area of the county.
We plan to ride in small groups 6-8 and can accommodate approx. 30 riders at present, if needed we will be able to arrange another group . On return to WCC there will be soft drinks and cakes available bought by the Wellbeing Ride team and we would appreciate a donation of a pound or two to cover our personal costs. The team at WCC would love you to go and browse round their new shop many of us have already been in a few times already, don’t forget to bring a face covering.
It would be much appreciated if after you have ticked ‘GOING’ you could inform us of your ride choice on the Facebook event as this will help the WBR team with planning (you can of course change your mind but as mentioned this info in advance will be very useful). Finally, if there are concerns about the potential weather conditions, we will post a warning message on Facebook the evening before and make the final decision at 7.30am on the morning of the ride.
