Social

Social Evenings on the 3rd Thursday of every month

The next Worcester St Johns Cycling Club Social Evenings will be held on the successful resolution of COVID-19.

The evenings start at 7pm and will be held at Worcester Motor Cycle Club.

Organised by Richard Graham the evenings take place on the third Thursday of every month.  They are informal events, and all club members are welcome to come along. There is a bar with hot and cold alcoholic (and non) drinks, crisps snacks etc. and very reasonably priced.

If there is something you’d like to see at a future social evening, we’re open to suggestions, if not, just come along for a chat.

Worcester Motorcycle Club is at Tower Buildings, Perdiswell Park Golf Course, Worcester WR3 7NW.

You can also find the location on Google Maps and a map is also shown below.

It’s that time of year again, when we can all get together, meet new members to the club and generally talk bikes all night – The WSJCC Annual Social Event!

We will be hearing from Ollie Morgan, who joined WSJCC at a young age, about his recent season racing in Belgium and his journey to become a Professional Cyclist. We will also have the opportunity to ask him some questions.

There will also be a Quiz, you got to be in it to win it, so swot up on everything cycling – 1st and last prize to be won.

Tickets cost £10 per person with a half price discount for 18-25 year olds (£5 per person) and under 18s/kids go free.

Ticket price includes dinner and a pudding.
Dress code: Smart Casual/Club Shirts

Places are limited, so book your place now – first come, first served basis. Anyone entitled to a free place does also need to register so we know how many people to cater for and room capacity.

The last date for places to be reserved is Thursday 7th November 2019

The schedule for the evening is:-
7:00 pm – Bar opens
Hot Dinner followed by Chocolate Brownie
An audience with Ollie Morgan
Awards Presentation
The Quiz with added Whizz
11:00 pm – Bar closes (although if people want to stay longer the bar will stay open). As the club will be organising and running the event any help that members can give on the night with setting up at the venue would be very much appreciated.

Setup will start at 6.00pm. Please indicate on the registration form if you are able to help with setup or serving on the night or contact Carole Thatcher.
