Calling all Young Riders!

Spring coaching series 2024

For our fun Hill Climb in Fort Royal Park on Friday 17th May 6.30pm, please just turn up – no need to book. See latest news tab for more info.

Sorry, but the April dates of our coaching series in Battenhall Park  are now fully booked. We can start a reserve list – just email. When we move to the two events at the countryside centre on Friday May 3rd and 10th 6.30pm, we will try to put on an extra starter group. If you would like to join these please email so we have an idea of numbers and ages. (More info on the coaching series on the latest news tab).

We have kept a couple of places back for girls and boys aged 8 to 10 in our academy group. These are for riders wanting to represent the club at mountain bike and Cycle Cross events this year. Please email with info to apply for these places.

Other club activities

We have an active children’s cycling scene where our focus is on having fun in a safe environment.

Our usual way in for new riders is to sign up for our Spring off-road coaching series. But you can also join us for road rides for the over 8’s on summer evenings and have a faster run for 12-14-year-olds. In the Autumn cyclo-cross training sessions get us ready for the West Midlands Cyclo Cross League. Plus days out exploring, mountain biking rides and pump track sessions add an adventure element to activities and contribute to our Club awards scheme.

Interested? Read full information in our “Guidelines for Parents” below and complete the “Parental Consent Form”.
