🏁🩵❤️🤍🖤Round 6 of the Shimano Lazer West Midlands Cyclocross League today at Princethorpe College hosted by RLSCC With 14 WSJ youth riders, we had an exciting morning! Princethorpe is a hard circuit, regardless of age group, you are either going uphill or twisty technical descent back down, fairly long grass also draining the energy from the legs. Everyone put in super performances, strong riding from everyone today. A special well done to Isabelle who was flying today and got that podium spot she has been chasing, not easy as first year in any age category. A big well done to our double Paul’s in the adults. We have a weekend off (to train 😝) next week, but then it’s our home round at Top Barn!!! 🔥👏 🩵❤️🤍🖤🏁ResultsU6 BoysTed - 🥇 U8 GirlsFearne - 4thEllen - 5thMaisy - 7th U8 BoysJude - 14thRory - 16thU10 GirlsPolly - 9thU10 BoysQuinn - 🥇 Toby - 4thWilf - 9thAlfred - 34thU12 GirlsIsabelle- 🥉 U12 BoysSidney - 19thU14 BoysAustin - 10th
Wondering what our TT racers are doing now the Time Trial season has finished? ⏱️ 🏁. WSJ has two teams currently competing in the Zwift racing leagues on a Tuesday evening. Well done all 💪👏👏.
🏁🩵❤️🤍🖤Round 5 of the Shimano Lazer West Midlands Cyclocross League today at Baggeridge hosted by Halesowen Cycling Club . We had a strong 11 WSJ youth riders today, with a few others away on holiday this week. Baggeridge without the mud did seem odd, but you didn’t hear any of the bike cleaners (parents) moaning 😁. The dry conditions made for super fast close racing, and another top showing from our young superstars. With Ben and Austin out on a very technical and hilly full circuit, a fair few riders picking up punctures in the woods, unfortunately Ben suffered a front flat after blasting his way through the field again, another big well done to coach Paul.👏👏 🩵❤️🤍🖤🏁ResultsU6 BoysTed - 🥉 U8 GirlsFearne - 🥉 Ellen - 5thU8 BoysJude - 15thU10 BoysQuinn - 🥇 Toby - 5thWilf - 7thAlfred - 30thU12 BoysSidney - 20thU14 BoysAustin - 13thBen - DNF
🏁🩵❤️🤍🖤Round 4 of the Shimano Lazer West Midlands Cyclocross League today at Heart of England host by @dynamicridescc . We had a massive 15 WSJ youth riders today. A special welcome to Alfie and Maisy joining todays team, along with an appearance from the Hallow Rocket that is Ben Bean. 🚀 A mostly rolling circuit with some added super technical banks made for hard but frantic racing. All the kids rode super strong once again, well done all 👏👏 🩵❤️🤍🖤🏁ResultsU6 BoysTed - 🥈 U8 GirlsFearne - 🥉 Ellen - 6thMaisy - 8thU8 BoysJude - 10thRory - 14thU10 GirlsPolly - 8thU10 BoysQuinn - 🥇 Toby - 7thWilf - 12thAlfred - 31stU12 GirlsIsabelle- 5thU12 BoysAlfie - TBCU14 BoysBen - 5thAustin 15th
❤️🩵🤍🖤🏁Round 3 of the Shimano Lazer West Midlands Cyclocross League to at Abbey Stadium in Redditch hosted by Redditch Road & Path CC and Warwick Lanterne Rouge CC . Another warm dry morning (long may they continue 🤞). The WSJ youth team had 12 riders today, only missing Quinn due to illness 🤧. Everyone rode brilliantly once again, fast technical riding displayed superbly by each rider, Rory was flying on his new bike, and Toby was unlucky not to podium after blasting his way to 2nd mid race. And great to see our double Pauls ripping round in the adults categories. Well done everyone 🔥 👏🏁🩵❤️🤍🖤.Results:U6 BoysTed - 2ndU8 GirlsFearne - 5thEllen - 9thU8 BoysJude - 15thRory - 16thU10 GirlsPolly - 11thU10 BoysToby - 6thWilf - 7thAlfred - 25thU12 GirlsIsabelle- 5thU12 BoysSidney - 20thU14 BoysAustin - 12th
